About Ingrid Lemme

Ingrid Lemme is President of Hamptons PR, a Public Relations and Marketing firm that has a special touch for working with smaller companies, artists and entrepreneurs to help them get all the publicity they deserve and more. ‘Lemme spreads the message…, is handling public relations and marketing for Gurney’s Inn Resort & Spa, VIPs, Real Estate Companies, Town supervisors, politicians, doctors, lawyers, painters, photographers, authors, poets, models, shops, boutiques and entrepreneurs since 1995.

While working with prominent doctors over the past several years Lemme has arranged appearances on radio and TV for plastic surgery, cardiology, anti-aging medicine, clinical nutrition and bio-energetic analysis; in the Hamptons and on a national level. She’s arranged appearances on TV and Radio for members of the Suffolk County legislature.

Her PR ‘stunt’ – “Good Morning Mrs. President, how are you?” at a LIA luncheon with Hillary Clinton and 1100 guests as her audiences made CNN national. Ingrid reminded Long Island and the country on the fact the Gurney’s Thalasso Spa is still until today the only one of its kind in the US.
She created the famous MUD people for Gurney’s Spa, two people covered from head to toe in green Argilite Mud; they appeared in a co- promotion with BMW.
Ingrid got married to Sunshine on Top of the World Trade Center as part of a WTC marriage marathon; and promptly created a year later the ‘The Renew Your Vows” a Valentine’s Marathon for Gurney’s Inn which is celebrating its 5th year, 2003.
Lemme has represented several tech firms in helping to communicate their story to the media, investors and the public.

An early Internet convert, Lemme developed the first multi media interactive Resort CD-rom and designed several websites and brochures.

In 1996 Lemme wrote the script for her own talk show American Dream, she produced the show alone until she was discovered by a commercial station with 600 000 households, WVVH Hamptons TV. The talk show airs twice a week Primetime. The American Dream Show received 2002 the Best of the Best Cable Show of the Hamptons Award by viewer’s choice.
62 new American Dream Shows are being produced in 2003.
Ingrid created and co-produced ‘Joseph Plays with Food’, a long Island Cooking Show. In 1997 Lemme started her then local column Mon-talk, which receives now attention on an international level as an E-zine.
She and her husband Sunshine (a fireman, EMT-cc) are writing a monthly travel column ‘Escape from Paradise’, where she gets to meet lots of other PR people. “One is only as good as once connections”, she says. Ingrid is the author of the book ‘To The Point’ a hardcover with lots of history about the Hamptons, “I had to study my target market”, she says.

Lemme is a Board member of ELIE, Eastern Long Island Executives; the Culinary Chapter of Suffolk County; Good News Broadcast and the Montauk Sun. She is a Member of the Chamber of Commerce Montauk, East Hampton and Southampton, Greater NY Chamber of Commerce, LIA - Long Island Association and NAFE -National Organization for Female Executives; and affiliated with several Marketing & PR firms and organizations in the tri state area and national.

Lemme has gained insight into the needs and concerns of charity as a result of her involvement in local organizations which recognizes the contributions of volunteers to their community charities.

WLNG Radio to name a few.
Ingrid is the co publisher of the Montauk Sun, a monthly that covers all of the Hamptons, and has drop off locations in Manhattan.
Ingrid Lemme is a graduate of Bochum and holds a diploma in architecture. She studied psychology, marketing, business and advertising. Ingrid modeled in her younger years for a national European publication. She is almost fluent in German and has two adult sons…she adores.
